Meet Our Team

Richard Rengel

Richard Rengel, Principal, is a native of Southern California who received his Bachelors of Architecture and Masters in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Obispo in 1980 and 1981 respectively. The unique combination of experience, business and design is an important contribution to the success of Rengel+Company Architects.

Sadia Syed

Sadia Syed, Project Manager, received her Bachelors in Architecture N.E.D. University of Engineering Karachi in 1981 and Masters in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma in 1984. Ms. Syed has worked with Rengel+Company, Architects for the last 20 years, this long term combination of educational and practical experience has allowed Ms. Syed to complete numerous challenging projects. These projects include retail, service industry, industrial and medical applications and have ranged from ground-up buildings and additions, to historical restoration and tenant improvements.

Terry Smith

Terry Smith, Project Manager, received a certificate in Architecture from Golden West College in 1984 and attended California State University Long Beach 1982 Engineering Department. Mr. Smith has worked for Rengel+Company Architects for the last 20 years; this long commitment has resulted in numerous successful projects ranging from simplistic to very complex. Some of these projects include commercial, retail, industrial manufacturing, medical research and development facilities, automotive design studios, office tenant improvements, public projects and ground-up buildings.
